First saw the work of this guy on the Urban Outfitters blog and I immediately had to find more! Designer Mico Tolendo uses music lyrics to create these great typographic posters, each usually having some sort of philosophical message! Makes you definitely think and appreciate song lyrics more when they are set out this way with their meaning emphasized. Here are some of my favourites...

The Resistance picks up Best Album Cover

The cover for album "The Resistance" by Muse, designed by La Boca has won the award for best Album cover in this years Best Art Vinyl awards. La Boca are a company specialising in design for music, film and fashion, who have an impressive client list! As a big Muse fan myself I think this album cover is particularly successful not only as an attractive piece of design but also in representing the theme and mood for the album.
